Meeting on Monday 5/10/2009:

In this time we worked in distributing the tasks properly and finding ways to get our projects done within our limitations ( budget , time , knowledge).

before we go to show the summary of what we progressed here are the people participated in that meeting

1- Mahmood Alkhudary ( 0515773 )(present active)

2- Mahmudur Rahman ( 0511331 )absent

3- Imama Ushama ( 0535421 ) on leave

4- Shawgi Younis ( 0526527 ) present ( active)

5- Saleh Ashmil ( 0415921) present( active)

the list of work left is:

1-writing a report ( problem clarification and market needs)...(....................)
2-Electrical calculation and design ( motor power, control architecture, continues control)..(sale +Imama)
4- components collection and surveying the possible available means to get project done( Shawgi)
5-mechanical design and cad (Mahmood Alkhudary )
3-uploading the blog for update( Saleh)
4-programming( Imama replacement (saleh))

The most recent meeting : 3/10/2009 sat

In this meeting we decided to work stuff in parallel ( we mean the two projects ), however our main focus was on the modeling of the " grass cutter" and the mechanical design

we come up with the last modeling which has been shown in here ,,,

the group members who were there in that meeting:

1- Mahmood Alkhudary ( 0515773 ) absent (excuse)

2- Mahmudur Rahman ( 0511331 ) absent ( no excuse)

3- Imama Ushama ( 0535421 ) absent (excuse)

4- Shawgi Younis ( 0526527 ) present

A new change in layout, organization and work.

Monday, August 31, 2009

A proper Functional Decomposition is drawn. It has to be checked with the lecturer.
The diagram is as follows:

NEXT STEP

As stated earlier,

  1. Morphological chart completed

  2. the alternatives will be drawn,

  3. pugh graph completed

  4. Progress report completed

To this moment, progress is very slow. I hope the team will buckle up and move faster. A drawing of functional decomposition was completed. The HOQ is nearly complete but there are some problems drawing it. The morphological chart is at the moment being sent around for updates. A meeting will be called to finalise it. Once that is done, a pugh graph will be drawn and the respective alternative will be chosen.

These are the follwong documents which can be seen. It's hard to upload it here, thats why I have uploaded it in another location.

Metric and Values (Incomplete) (done by Imama)

The new Metric values can be taken from the document at the top of the page

We have proceeded to Concept Generalisation and at the moment coming u with the functional deployment and morphological chart. We have yet to upload the that meeting's minutes and after preparing for the midterm, it has been realised that certain things are not done properly. Thats why we have a delay. Inshallah we will update the complete PDS as soon as possible.
Thank You,
Salam sir,
